Bait Ur Rehman - Silver Spring Maryland USA


2014 is the 20th anniversary year of the Masjid Bait ur Rahman. It is also the national Headquater of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community USA. The mosque was inaugurated by Hadhrat Mirza Tahir Ahmad, the late Head of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community, on 14 October 1994.
The mosque, which sits on 13 acres, was 20,000 square feet before the addition. With the new building, the mosque can accommodate 2,500 people; before it served 1,200, said Amjad Chaudhry, a member of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community who serves on the East County Citizens Advisory Board.
