The Tuvalu Ahmadiyya Mosque is the only Purpose built mosque in the Island. The population of the Island stands at 10’837 with 400 members being Ahmadi Population in the 2012 census (3.6%). This Mosque is situated next to the Funafuti International Airport. Anugerah Rahadian Firdaus an Indonesian missionary is in charge of Ahmadiyya Community Tuvalu. The Ahmadiyya Muslim Community translated the Quran into the Tuvaluan Language in 1990
