The foundation stone for the mosque was laid on 4 th February 2004 by the late Hadhrat Mirza Wasim Ahmad, Nazir ‐ e ‐ Ala and Sadr Anjuman Ahmadiyya Qadian, the grandson of the Founder of the Ahmadiyya MuslimJamaat Hadhrat Mirza Masroor Ahmad inaugurated the ‘Umer Mosque’ at District Ernakulam, Kochi, located on the southwest coast of India.The opening coincided with the recent openings of four other mosques in the nearby area
