The Darul Aman mosque cost £1m and was funded by the community. Manchester’s newest mosque attracted more than 1,500 Muslims to its grand opening in Hulme. The £1m Darul Aman mosque, on Greenheys Lane, is thought to be the second largest in Britain. The mosque was Inaugurated by Hazrat Mirza Masroor Ahmad on 27th April 2012 with a capacity of 2k worshippers.
